“The Civil War in San Francisco.” by Erik Saul
Eric Saul was the Director of the Presidio Army Museum in San Francisco from 1973-1986. While there, he developed a number of exhibits related to the role of minorities in the US Army, OSS detachments, and the 101st Airborne Division. In 1980, he helped found a San Francisco based non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the memory of Japanese American soldiers in World War II, now called the National Japanese American Historical Society.
